On Wednesday, Jill Stein’s presidential campaign stated that they were planning on filing for recounts in a total of three states that are going to be essential. The hope is they could raise enough money to do so. Stein stated the following, “After a divisive and painful presidential race, reported hacks into voter and party databases and individual email accounts are causing many Americans to wonder if our election results are reliable.”
Wisconsin , Michigan and Pennsylvania are the focus states for Stein. Just a note, these three were the most troubling when it came to Trump’s victory. Aside from pulling it off in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, Michigan is also likely to end up on the list.
Jill Stein’s spokeswoman claimed the campaign is not filed still, due to extensive paperwork. The money required for this campaign rounds up to $2 million- they ought to cover the filing fees and the entire recount process. For this reason, a fundraising website was set up in hopes the money will be collected.
These three states were first mentioned in the matter on, after New York Magazine stated that election security experts wanted to hurry Hillary Clinton’s campaign to contest the results there, citing suspicious results.
