The mainstream media, in the wake of President Donald Trump’s victory, has rebranded itself as the last redoubt of truth, justice, and the (liberal) American way. In truth, our dying news masters are corrupt, biased, and mercenary agents who wantonly throw away lives in order to grab headlines.
For instance, The New York Times recently wrote up an article about a new CIA station chief tasked with undermining the theocratic regime in Tehran. Unfortunately, the newspaper actually named the new officer, thus putting the person’s life in serious jeopardy.
The New York Times weakly justified its crime by saying that the new chief is “leading an important new administration initiative against Iran,”.
This sounds a lot better than: “We just want to hurt the Trump administration.”
In the original article, which discloses the agent’s full name, as well as his nicknames, The New York Times tries to ring the liberal alarm bell by saying this move signals a “tough” new approach to Iran.
Frankly, after the Obama team’s approach to Iran, anything less than fawning adoration is a tougher stance.
While the liberal media is quick to jump on every little move made by the Trump administration, they unanimously looked away as Obama funneled millions into the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism.
Likewise, during the administration of George W. Bush, the unmasking of Valerie Plame was a major scandal that received almost around-the-clock coverage.
During the Obama years, the press made no fuss about the fact that the administration leaked the name of its own CIA station chief in Afghanistan.
By the way, do you know what happens to CIA station chiefs? In 1984, CIA spymaster William Francis Buckley was kidnapped by Hezbollah and tortured to death. Before dying alone in a dingy cell, Buckley told the Iranian-backed terrorists 400-pages worth of classified information.
This weaponization of leaks is beyond dangerous. Our news media is playing a murderous game that could wind up killing a lot of people.
In their maniacal quest to hurt Trump, the mainstream media has thrown away its last remnants of ethics and morals. Now, newspapers like The New York Times and the Washington Post are in the business of fomenting revolutions.
Don’t buy them, don’t support them, and don’t believe them.
