It’s been eight days since the Trumps first departed for their overseas trip, during which Melania Trump has sported several bold runway pieces in Saudi Arabia, Israel, Belgium, and Italy. For her final appearances in Taormina and Sigonella, the First Lady once again opted for Dolce & Gabbana’s whimsical designs.
For an art and garden tour with the other first ladies and gentleman, Trump chose a fluid, floral-printed frock that recalled the palette and 3-D effect of yesterday’s Alta Moda coat, which she wore to the G7 summit. This preference for overtly feminine details has defined the final leg of Trump’s trip, which had previously been dominated by strongly tailored suiting and rare pops of color.
In wearing the Dolce & Gabbana-designed piece for her final day in Italy, Trump went for a colorful finish. Shortly afterward, she changed into a custom, body-con sheath with jewel-like embellishments that conjured up images of her New Year’s Eve look.
Trump wore the dress to speak to U.S. military personnel and families on Memorial Day weekend. Brightening up the ensemble were cotton candy pink stilettos and Trump’s ever present diamond ring.
