CNN busted when sharp-eyed viewers notice something odd about this “rescue”

“Fake news.” Two words that were hardly ever put together in the same sentence a mere matter of months ago are now uttered and typed thousands of times a day. On multiple occasions Donald Trump has stood in front of reporters from CNN and called them “fake news”, he’s lambasted the network on his Twitter feed and essentially gone on a crusade against the one-time cable news giant.

It’s not just Trump. Thanks to the internet, millions and millions of eyes are trained onto and looking out for biased if not outright false reporting, and CNN has once again gotten busted for faking a story — and this one is of the most sickening variety.

CNN has been caught leveraging an unfolding natural disaster, Hurricane Harvey, to push its own false narrative.

With the whole world watching the tragic loss of life and property in Texas, CNN corespondent Drew Griffin decided to play the role of hero and assist in the saving of a man in distress, which on the surface is certainly worthy of applause.

But then the ever watchful eyes of the internet began to pick up on some inconsistencies that point to the whole thing having been a faked set up.

Twitter user referring to himself as RedPill “Journalist/Reporter for Goldwater, Connoisseur of Truth, Logic, Reason” noticed a few strange things about the supposed ‘rescue’ — first and foremost being that Griffin seems to have squeezed in a wardrobe change during the ‘tense seconds’ while saving a man.

See for yourself:

Redpill then took the video and broke it down into byte-sized segments to highlight the obvious fake:

The ensuing Twitter storm was brutal on CNN, deservedly so with one tweeter asking “@realDonaldTrump why are U guys still allowing @cnn a WH press pass?”  And with RedPill himself sarcastically pointing out how Griffin was professional enough to keep a microphone on him while saving a man’s life.

Of course this isn’t the first time CNN has been busted faking it. While reporting on the Cleveland kidnapping story in 2013 CNN was busted faking a supposed “satellite interview” between anchor Nancy Grace (allegedly in Cleveland) and reporter Ashleigh Banfield (allegedly in Phoenix) when in fact they were in the same parking lot.

That particular embellishment while embarrassing for the network was nevertheless somewhat harmless. But with the eyes of the world watching the drama unfolding in Texas, with rescuers working themselves to the point of dropping from exhaustion and the sheer scope of human tragedy taking place, the very idea that CNN (or anyone else) would exploit the victims of this disaster is beyond the pale even for that beleaguered outfit.

As Rush Limbaugh’s voiceover guy says, “They used to get away with it.”  Used to.  CNN just doesn’t seem to be learning. The internet is watching and the more we see, the more we’re believing Trump is right. “You are fake news.”

Doesn’t the FCC or whatever government agency have the authority to jerk or fine CNN big bucks for constantly lying to their viewers. Over the past 4 years, they have gone from bad to worse. Not one of their talking heads respects our country.

Thank you Red Pill for pointing this out your right first shorts then a pair of pants{must be a very good and lightening quick person of extraordinary means to change in a matter of seconds do this wink wink} Oh how many times do you have to embarrass your selves over at CNN before you have to finally admit the obvious your the fakest of the fake when it comes to news.

It’s pretty obvious that’s just another crew member wearing the same red CNN branded raincoat as the reporter. There’s really no conspiracy here. Just two dudes wearing the same company jacket.

This is the fake news. Notice the speed the reporter was moving towards the victim and then look at the guy in the shorts just as he first appeared. The guy in the shorts is a bystander. Also, how did they miraculously get the truck to somehow stop and get set up for the fake shot. You people are so gulable

My comment will never be published, guaranteed. I have sent screen shots of this page to my friends both conservatives and liberals proving your site is just as bad as CNN. So sad where American is headed. Nobody cares about the truth, whatever that may be.

Did anyone notice that the man they pulled from the vehicle had completely dry shorts on that were not wet or sticking to his legs like wet shorts would have done. With other stuff that been notice in this segment it all boils down to “Fake News for ratings”.

The sound of the footsteps don’t even match the guy in the shorts. So this story is fake news, trying to empower the lies of tRump.

You people are all suckers, and this will be removed i’m sure because this site is for suckers.
Listen to the audio.. The guy is running.. Is the guy in shorts running? no.
Is there more than one person in CNN with a red jack on? Yes.
Confirmation Bias at its best.. See what you want to see.
And you wonder why we think you are all idiots.
Take head out of ass for more than a second and review your sources, critical thinking and use all your faculties.. eyes, ears and most importantly your mind..
    ONCE in a while please..

He is a professional camera man and he is going to take a picture of a road sign for 15 seconds…That would be pretty doubtful
