Denzel Washington Reminds Celebrities They Aren’t American Heroes Just Because They Are Famous

Denzel Washington is one of the most respected successful actors and he is not afraid to tell Hollywood the truth.

Hollywood celebrities think that making a movie is one of the hardest jobs.

So, Washington couldn’t listen to their stupidity, and during an interview, he pointed out what really is the hardest job.

“People talk about the difficulty of making a movie and I’m like, ‘send your son to Iraq, that’s difficult,’” Washington said.

“It’s just a movie. It’s like — relax. I don’t play that precious nonsense. Your son got shot in the face. That’s difficult,” he added. “Making a movie is a luxury. It’s a gift. It’s an opportunity, and most importantly it’s a gift.”

“Don’t get it twisted. It’s just a movie — it ain’t that big a deal,” Washington concluded.

Washington did a good job reminding them that they aren’t American’s heroes just for being famous.

Washington made these comments after he was asked about the first and the hardest job he ever had.

The admired actor said that he worked as a postman and a garbageman before he became an actor.

During a press event for the movie “Fences” in June, Washington slammed the reporter who demanded to know who he supported in the 2016 elections.

“None of your business!” Washington said.

Then the reporter asked him if he thought that race relations have been improved in America since Obama become president.

“Race relationships have to do with race relationships,” Washington replied. “You’re white, or whatever you are, and I’m black, or whatever I am — we’re standing here talking now. That’s how we get things done.”

Adding, “You can’t legislate love.”

Unlike many celebrities, Washington is real and he knows that his job is not the most challenging job in the world. Getting millions of dollars to act is not even close to risking your life for the country every day.

They are grossly over paid people who dont work and have no idea what work is or what it means to earn their money. With an exception for a number of the older actors.

Level headed great actor. Not intimidated by the insane Hollywood hysteria. He’s right acting or directing is no big deal. Most of them don’t even have a superior education. Hollywood=Sodom and Gomorrah.
