Donald Trump Cancels NBA Championship Invitation to Steph Curry and the Warriors

President Donald Trump abruptly canceled a White House invitation to the Golden State Warriors after star Steph Curry signaled reluctance to attend.

“Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team,” Trump said. “Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!”

Officially, the team hadn’t made a decision about whether or not they would meet with Trump at the White House.

Curry bluntly said, “I don’t want to go,” to reporters in Oakland on Friday.

Curry said that the team didn’t stand for what Trump had “said” and “hadn’t said in the right terms” and said that the team “wouldn’t stand for it.”

“By acting and not going, hopefully that will inspire some change when it comes to what we tolerate in this country and what is accepted and what we turn a blind eye to,” he said.

It’s time these idiots start respecting our president & our flag. We suffered under obama for 8 yrs. & didn’t carry on like these scum bags. Leave our country & find some place better where you THINK it is better. Why on earth don’t you realize how many people are trying to get into our country because of our freedoms. Protesting in any way should be banned in our country. Go to Mexico or the middle east & see how much better you will be treated.

Protesting is a right under our Constitution. Your suggestion that it be banned makes you sound like a Soros funded Antifa democrat.

Your correct!! If You Find It To Hard To Stand For Our Flag & Anthem Then You Should Benched! Then Draw Up A Contract Have That Clause In It! Then They Can Be Fired On The Spot! Its Sports They Are Hired For, Not Their Political Views! So They Should Keep their Protests Out Of The Ball Fields! The Few Asses Have The Right Not To What To Go To The White House & Our President Has The Right Not To invite Them! I Would Think It Would Be An Honor To Even Be Asked! But That’s Just My Feelings!!! Their Loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These athletes and protests over any little thing is absurd. They are highly over-paid by THE fans. Patriotism is not about them, it is about our country AND the freedoms we have. Protest if you must and suffer the consequences. We, the people, have the option to refuse to attend games and put up with your petty displays.

No Sports personality is worth paying a million dollars a year,Or any Entertainer either. They would not be in this position if it were not for the fan base. So stop Disrespecting the people who have made you what you are and the position you are in today. What we as fans started we can stop! If we as a majority feel this way your careers will be over, Just look at Kaspernick or Tiger Woods as two examples, Boycotts of your talents no matter how good you may be will end your career. Be thankful to your fans respect your fans be moral and an upstanding example for future generations. Yes you may have made enough money to live comfortable for the rest of your life but without the fans or the media you will fade into obscurity.

If you offer someone a gift and they are rude to you… Why would you not rescend the offer? They are entertainers who bounce a ball… Playing a kids game… He is the leader of the free world… Their loss

The guy bounces and throws a ball for one hell of a living. His opinion ranks in about the same place as the crust on someone with pink eye.
Does he have any other actual skills besides running his mouth?

Certainly, Curry and his team mates have the ‘right’ to act like ‘jerks’. President Trump ALSO has the right to WITHDRAW the invitation to honor their winning season at the WH.
Hopefully, KARMA will visit Curry and those who ‘enable him’ and deliver the appropriate rewards for obnoxious, narcissistic behavior, IMHO.

You are wrong James. The constitution does provide for a petition of greivence to the government. There is no guarantee that you can act with disrespect on a sports field or any other way than to approach the government. Players are not doing anything good. Players are engaged in treason. I won’t pay to watch such disrespect toward my country. So, players can go play with themselves.

I am so sick of the Black athletes bringing all this negative attention on America. If you think your so picked on, I’m sure you can go play in Europe or Japan orseveral other countries. Get your Black Privileged asses out of here.
