Foreperson In Roger Stone Trial Had History Of Anti-Trump Social Media Posts

On Wednesday, the foreperson on the jury that convicted Roger Stone revealed who she was, and evidence surfaced that she is a political activist who has ripped President Trump on social media, participated in anti-Trump rallies, and run unsuccessfully as a Democrat for Congress in 2012.

According to The Daily Mail, Tomeka Hart, a board member of the Shelby County Schools in Tennessee who served as board president in 2008-2009, wrote on Facebook to defend the four prosecutors who withdrew after the DOJ recommended that the sentence for Stone, who was convicted on seven counts of lying to Congress, witness tampering and obstruction of justice, be lightened. She stated:

As foreperson, I made sure we went through every element, of every charge, matching the evidence presented in the case that led us to return a conviction of guilty on all 7 counts … I have kept my silence for months. Initially, it was for my safety. Then, I decided to remain silent out of fear of politicizing the matter … But I can’t keep quiet any longer. I want to stand up for Aaron Zelinsky, Adam Jed, Michael Marando, and Jonathan Kravis – the prosecutors on the Roger Stone trial … It pains me to see the DOJ now interfere with the hard work of the prosecutors. They acted with the utmost intelligence, integrity, and respect for our system of justice. For that, I wanted to speak up for them and ask you to join me in thanking them for their service.

Hart confirmed to The Daily Memphian that she wrote the Facebook post. Once her identity had been revealed, evidence of her political history was posted on social media.

The Daily Mail wrote, “In January 2019, Hart also re-tweeted a post by pundit Bakari Sellers mocking Stone’s arrest, and suggesting that racism was the reason conservatives were upset about the use of force in the FBI’s armed pre-dawn raid on his home. Months later, Hart was impaneled on Stone’s jury. On the day the jury convicted him, she posted emojis of hearts and fist pumps.”

Hart’s anti-Trump posts, including one where she wrote, “Gotta love it!” followed by a quote reading, “The word sh**hole is being projected onto Trump’s DC hotel,” and another where she wrote, “Marched by 45’s hotel … and the crowd went boooooo!!! Then yelled shame, shame, shame as we walked by!” were first reported by Mike Cernovich, The Daily Mail reported.

In August 2019, responding to an article in The Atlantic in which Trump supporters responded to being called racists, Hart tweeted, “Then stop being racists. Co-signing and defending a racist and his racist rhetoric makes you racist. Point blank.”

Fox News added, “ … it emerged that U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson had denied a defense request to strike a potential juror who was Obama-era press official with admitted anti-Trump views — and whose husband worked at the same Justice Department division that handled the probe leading to Stone’s arrest. And, another Stone juror, Seth Cousins, donated to former Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke and other progressive causes, federal election records reviewed by Fox News show.”

Stand up and condone their political bias and say that is right. I do not think so.

Roger Stone had THE most biased jury possible and that woman, Tameka Hart, has a history of spewing her left wing views. No way she could be fair. How she managed to slide by this one is a mystery.
Her radical views are well known.
