HUGE: Border Wall Announcement Electrifies The Nation… No One Expected THIS!

If you build it, they won’t come.

In a way, President Trump and his supporters have adopted that variation on the Field of Dreams tag line as their motto.

Pretty much since the first day of his campaign (if not earlier) Donald Trump has said that America must construct a border wall.

Critics denounced this proposal and anyone who supported it, but clearly, this message resonated with voters. In fact, many have said that this was the main reason they voted for the Republican contender.

Trump’s critics also insisted that such a wall could never be built, even if he won the Oval Office.

By now, however, it must be obvious even to the biggest #NeverTrumpers Left and Right that Donald Trump is a man who keeps his promises:

Pretty much since the first day of his campaign (if not earlier) Donald Trump has said that America must construct a border wall.

Trump’s critics also insisted that such a wall could never be built, even if he won the Oval Office.

By now, however, it must be obvious even to the biggest #NeverTrumpers Left and Right that Donald Trump is a man who keeps his promises:

In just a few weeks, contracts will be awarded to build the wall along the southern border, which stretches more than 2,000 miles. Thanks to natural obstacles, a wall will be needed along approximately 1,000 of those miles.

The federal government contracts website has listed the opportunity, and companies interested in the work will need to submit prototypes and concept papers for their design.

The deadline for proposals and costs is March 24. This is why Trump at CPAC said the wall is “way, way, way, ahead of schedule.”

Since it is obvious that the wall will be built, the next question is, will the project go the way of every other government enterprise and end up being finished years late and wildly over budget?

For the first time in history, the president of the United States is a builder, and a business negotiator. If Donald Trump manages this construction hands on, it is hard to believe that that will happen.

And once this precedent is set, the pressure will be on for future projects (such as those infrastructure initiatives that Trump also has his eye on) to follow suit.

If anyone can change the mentality of America’s government bureaucracy to embrace efficiency, that will be one of Donald Trump’s greatest legacies.
