Ivanka Trump got some bad news today as a growing number of retailers have been ditching her brand amidst pressure from the anti-Trump boycott.
Daily Mail reported that Shoes.com was the first retailer to announce it was dropping Ivanka’s shoe line as part of the GrabYourWallet campaign. This boycott was started by Shannon Coulter on October 11 as a reference to Donald Trump’s infamous “grab them by the p***y” remark.
Since then, a growing number of women have joined the boycott of Ivanka’s line of clothing, jewelry, perfume and accessories over her support for her father. They have also demanded that stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s stop selling the brand as well.
Any retailer that refuses to drop the brand is added to the list of companies being boycotted.
Shoes.com revealed that they were dropping Ivanka’s line.
“We understand and your voices have been heard. We have removed the products from our website,” Shoes.com tweeted on November 12. “We want to support our customers and make sure than can continue to stand tall.”
The tweets from Shoes.com have since been deleted, but they have not readded Ivanka’s line.
Nordstrom’s responded earlier this month by announcing they will not be dropping Ivanka’s brand, saying they want to allow customers “choices about what they purchase based on personal views.”
“We hope that offering a vendor’s products isn’t misunderstood as us taking a political position; we’re not. We recognize,” a spokesman said.
It’s sad that liberals are punishing Ivanka for things that her father said that have been taken out of context. SHARE this story if you stand with Ivanka Trump!
