The Left’s reaction to Trump’s pardon of Sheriff Arpaio as been almost as windy as Hurricane Harvey.
And it’s to no one’s surprise that Ben Rhodes, a former staffer in the Obama White House, who some also consider to be one of Obama’s primary propagandists, especially after he revealed his role in that White House’s dishonest selling of the Iran Deal, took to Twitter to add his own gusts of outrage.
Obama used his pardon and commutation power to give a second chance to people who deserved empathy, not racists who showed none. https://t.co/KXhBQk5MHu

If the last decade of enduring Obama’s Christ-like portrayal by the media and his allies – in this case ‘giving a second chance to people who deserved empathy’ as if they were all like Mary Magdalene pleading for forgiveness from The One – has been a source of tedium for you, apparently you are not alone.
James Woods, the gifted actor who’s been a star on Twitter since he began taking to the platform to express his conservative views, seems to feel the same way.
In response to Rhodes latest attempt to canonize his (former?) boss, Woods tweeted:
A murderous bomber, a traitor, and countless drug dealers and terrorists. You're either a heinous liar or an idiot, and you're not an idiot. https://t.co/DNdC9FflLO

Woods’ point should be well-taken. A list of those pardoned by Obama would indeed include numerous entries of those who are drug-dealers, as well as a terrorist and a traitor.
The terrorist would be one Oscar Lopez Rivera, an unrepentant member of the FALN.
According to trackingterrorism.org
The Armed Forces of National Liberation (FALN) is a Puerto Rican terrorist organization responsible for numerous attacks on continental U.S. soil. FALN, one of several Puerto Rican nationalist terrorist groups, set itself apart by repeatedly attacking U.S. citizens and facilities for roughly a decade.
Oscar Lopez Rivera’s disregard for life is so callous that according to Politico he attempted to escape from prison by bascially allying himself with members of another domestic terrorist group and killing a lot of guards:
Aided by two radicals affiliated with the Weather Underground, Lopez’s plan apparently included “riddl[ing] guard towers with rounds from automatic weapons, and throw[ing] grenades in the path of those who pursued” the escapees.
And the “traitor” in Woods’ tweet refers to Chelsea (Bradley) Manning, who gave Wikileaks close to 750,000 classified or sensitive documents, an act that the Pentagon has said undermined the U.S. military and endangered the lives of U.S. soldiers.
Arpaio himself is no saint. However, it’s arguable that, unlike those pardoned by Obama mentioned in Woods’ tweet, the motivation behind his misdeeds – including the crime for which Arpaio was convicted – was to better serve and protect American citizens.
