Jason Aldean Responds — Read His Whole Statement After Surviving Las Vegas Massacre

Country music star Jason Aldean released a statement in the early Monday morning hours stating he was safe after the Las Vegas shooting Sunday night.

Aldean was performing at the Route 91 concert in Vegas when gunfire rained down on concert goers from the Mandalay Bay hotel, killing at least 50. The country music legend released the following statement on Instagram:

Tonight has been beyond horrific. I still dont know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that Me and my Crew are safe. My Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night. #heartbroken #stopthehate

There is startling video of the musician running for cover as bullets were fired into the crowd. The music cuts off and Aldean runs backstage as the crowd begins to rush for protection.

Fellow country music star Jake Owen was also in Vegas at the time of the shooting for the concert and is also safe.

Stephen Paddock killed at least 50 people and wounded more than 400. Police believe he killed himself as they responded to his hotel room. Check back throughout the day for more updates.

Well I never heard of Alden. But then I listen to real country music. As for the shooting it’s another false flag. That is the so called elites are trying to see if they can start a civil war in America.!

What a ridiculous comment. Nobody gives a shit that you’re still living in the ancient past music wise. Dozens of people (Country Music Fans) lost their lives last night. Have some damn respect. Crawl back under your stone and stay there.

If you listen to real country music as you say there is no way you could have missed who Jason Aldean is. Obviously, you don’t. He was the headliner for a 3 day festival. He wouldn’t be the main event with all the others there…..Eric Church, Big & Rich, Kane Brown, Maren Morris, Brothers Osborn, etc. if he wasn’t worthy of. This was a fabulous festival full of music, fun, and a great gathering of all kinds of people. Prayers are for all of those there and affected by this. It’s just heartbreaking and so scary!
