Millions Of Water Bottles Found Rotting In Puerto Rico As San Juan Mayor Continues To Bash Trump

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz has repeatedly attacked President Donald Trump over the U.S. government’s response in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, even as 12 million bottles of water were discovered this week rotting on an airport runway in Puerto Rico.

BuzzFeed News reports that “Justo Hernández, deputy federal coordinating officer of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), told reporters that the 19,841 pallets of water were left on the runway at José Aponte de la Torre Airport and that as a result, ‘some of that water was spoiled.'”

The revelation comes at roughly the same time that Yulin Cruz appeared on CNN to bash Trump and also attacked the president in a series of tweets this week.

Puerto Rico Secretary of State Luis Rivera Marin called out Yulin Cruz last night on Fox News as being one of Puerto Rico’s politicians who has “politicized” the natural disaster.

A June report from a local Puerto Rican news outlet — provided to The Daily Wire after it was translated into English — highlighted Yulin Cruz’s absence from Puerto Rico as she politicked in the United States.

“So far this year, the mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulín Cruz Soto, has been out of Puerto Rico for 52 days, tending to activities with different organizations and delegating the functions of her job that she was recently reelected to, to former vice-mayor of the capital, Rafael Jaume,” NotiCel reported. “Subsequently, there have been 11 executive orders issued by Cruz Soto to designate Jaume as interim mayor while she is outside Puerto Rico.”

The media has also used the hurricane to attack Trump, often blaming his administration for any failures in Puerto Rico, even if the fault lies with Puerto Rican officials.

The Daily Caller flagged a video clip yesterday of FEMA administrator Brock Long appearing on MSNBC and debunking many false or misleading claims that the media has been peddling since the hurricane.

She should be prosecuted for holding back that water and other supplies from her own people! How utterly inhumane and all as a political ploy.
