During MSNBC’s segment about President Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels, host Nicolle Wallace asked on air about the how the women in Trump’s family deal with his alleged behavior towards certain women.
“What do they do on a day like today?” Wallace asked. “Are they just the most stoic human beings, are they numb, are they dead inside, are they paid off, I mean, what’s their deal?”
Vanity Fair reporter Emily Fox told with Wallace the women were all of the above.
“Yes, yes, and yes, but I think they do not see President Trump the way that all of us see President Trump,” she said. “They have such a distorted image of who he is that they don’t have the kind of reaction that we do.”
“So, [Trump] may not have shared these views about these specific women, but the way that the president talks about women and behaves towards women, it’s not so out of line with what Rudy Giuliani said, and, what he said about Stormy Daniels was disgusting,” Fox continued.
“[It] gave me a pit in my stomach from the second I woke up this morning, but my first reaction was, this is so disrespectful to the first lady,” she added.
