Nikki Haley Says Trump’s Rocket Man Nickname “Worked”

Nikki Haley, the U.N. Ambassador, said, President Trump reached his goal when he called Kim Jong Un “Rocket Man” during his speech Tuesday.

The first time President Trump called Kim Jong Un the “Rocked Man” was Saturday via Twitter. And after receiving positive reaction he decided to include it in his speech in front of the United Nations, saying “Rocket Man is on a suicide mission.”

Haley appeared on Good Morning America, where she was asked by the host George Stephanopoulos, whether it was “appropriate” for Trump to call Kim Jong Un “The Rocket Man” in front the U.N.

“Well I’ll tell you, George, it worked,” Haley said.

“I was talking to a president of an African country yesterday and he actually cited ‘Rocket Man’ back to me … Look, This is a way of getting people to talk about him, but every other international community now is referring to him as ‘Rocket Man,’” she said.

Stephanopoulos claimed that the speech disturbed some feathers, mainly the part when Trump said America will “totally destroy” North Korea if it comes to war and asked Haley to say something about that.

“Well, I think what you saw yesterday from the president was he was being honest,” she said.

“I know that people and countries don’t want to hear it, but here’s a man who continues to test ballistic missiles, he continues to test new hydrogen bombs, he continues to threaten our allies, he says he’s going to destroy the United States to ashes, he says he’s going to continue to send us gift packages to the United States,” she said.

“So if you want to talk about who’s been giving us threats it’s certainly been the Kim regime,” she said.

Haley added that U.S. has “exhausted every diplomatic means” to deal with North Korea, including sanctions and dialogue.

“And we are going to continue to do that. While he is being irresponsible, we’re going to be responsible,” Haley said. “The international community actually very much appreciated the blunt, honest approach that the president took on North Korea.”

As for Kim’s new label?

“That’s a Trump original,” Sarah Huckabee Sanders said. “He is a master at branding.”

Does it not interest anyone that the stand made by President Trump is the first time putting the cards out on the table and letting the world see what it means to speak and not run behind doors and try to “buy” you way into dealing with this nutcase? Obama didn’t have the “need” to see that any of this was done and therefore, the results was like slapping him in the face with what he intended to do. That is what has resulted from diplomacy such has been exerted on the world by the Obama Administration. Sound sincere and do nothing but hide away and not come face to face. Perhaps THAT was his idea all along. Do nothing but make “deals” and back down on every encounter. That is policy?

What our President said in the UN was the truth. Steffy the Marxist did not like that, he does not like any light on what he believes as what he believes is never going to work anywhere. Un is a despot, all tyrants are leftests, liers and can only build walls to keep their population in the country. They are cruel…period. President Trump told the UN, which is comprised of tyrants, despots, cruelty and evil (all are) what they are to us. Go Pres!

” . . . disturbed some feathers.” The expression is “ruffled some feathers” just so you know.
