Singer Joy Villa Makes Another Pro-Trump Statement at the Grammys with Her ‘Build the Wall’ Dress

Although awards shows are usually an opportunity to bash President Donald Trump, singer Joy Villa did the opposite with her unique outfit.

Villa is known for her outrageous outfits and pro-Trump awards show style. In the past, she wore a “Make America Great Again” slogan on a dress and received criticism for supporting Trump.

However, this year she made it obvious that the critics do not affect her, showing up to the Grammys red carpet in a dress that resembled a border wall.

Villa’s dress was made to look like a border wall with barbed wire and on the back of the dress was a sign that read “build the wall.”

“This is the wall,” said Villa while holding her “Make America Great Again” purse. “I believe in building a wall to protect our southern border, not to keep people out but to protect citizens of our country.”

She also pointed out that she was not making a discriminatory statement toward another group of people.

“I’m part-Latina, I’m black,” Villa said.

After receiving criticism, Villa defended herself on Twitter and spoke out about reasons she supports the border wall.

“I don’t care what anyone thinks,” Villa said. “I 100% support the wall & our President @realDonaldTrump. Do you want more drugs brought in? (70% of heroin from Mexico) More illegal women getting sexually assaulted (1 in 3)? More children being trafficked? (Thousands a year) because I DO NOT!”
