Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich on Trump: ‘He Brings Out the Dark Side of Human Beings’

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is at it again, this time attacking President Donald Trump for bringing out “the worst in people.”
Popovich spoke to reporters in the nation’s capital before Tuesday’s game with the Washington Wizards and once again went after the president, Yahoo reported.

The outspoken coach urged Americans to resist President Trump and said that he uses his baleful influence to advance his interests.

“We take our eye off the ball. He’s great at it,” Popovich told reporters. “He brings out the dark side of human beings for his own purpose, which is himself. If it’s not pointed out, if people don’t stand up and point it out, it will become commonplace. It’s not the world that I want to live in.”

Popovich also insisted that Trump uses misdirection to keep the country off guard while he pushes his agenda.

“Our current president hopes to bore us to death with all these new issues day after day after day that keeps him in the news,” the coach said. “But you can talk about one comment or scandal after another, and it becomes commonplace — forgotten about — and we don’t even know what’s going on behind the scenes, like what’s happening to our environment and health, all this sort of thing, all the laws that are sliding in, all the people who are being removed and being replaced like scientists replaced by politicians.”

During the same interview, Popovich said that he thinks it is time to “revisit” the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

“The real discussion should be about the Second Amendment. Is it useful? Does it serve its purpose the way it was supposed to do in the beginning? That discussion should be had,” he said.

Popovich then went after the left’s favorite target, the National Rifle Association.

“Is one life more important than some congressman keeping his position because he’s afraid he won’t get funds from the NRA? It’s a dereliction of duty on the part of everybody around Trump,” Popovich added.

The coach also praised the Parkland students for their anti-gun crusade.

Trump doesn’t bring out the dark side – Satan does. Popovich’s dark side has always been there – typical Liberal Cry Baby – boo hoo.

I do not praise those students. They are dangerous. They are acting out of pure feelings and fright. They are not thinking of what they are saying. Guns are not the problem. The use of the Guns is the problem. In this country guns are a right to help protect our lives. Guns will always be available. I mean possession of alcohol was illegal and people got it and it had to made in a far more laborious way the same with all kinds of drugs. So making something that most of the people want illegal to poses is not going to stop anything. Now laws will give people a warm and fuzzy feeling that will relax enforcement of the laws on the books. That will cause many more problems and I would guess many more of these shootings. Suicide among students has risen because of bullies the school shootings are just another way the students have come up with to handle these suicidal feelings. That is the cause, not the guns. Handle this and increase security by enforcing the laws on the books. Gun free zones should work but when you let people in those zones with guns you defeat the purpose of the law and you are not enforcing the law. No law can help if it is not enforced. So please enforce the laws that are on the books. If a person is mentally unstable they should not have a gun. That is already a law if not it should be. That is not taking buns away from anyone and not violating any one’s rights. That is promoting responsible gun ownership. If a person is proven mentally unstable then they have been given their due process. If they want guns they should then have to prove they are mentally stable enough to own a gun.

Coach Gregg Popovich is just another Democratic puppet. Just because he hates guns does not make him correct on Trump: Coach Gregg Popovich is binging Out the Dark Side of Human Beings. Why should anyone want this country to fail? That is what he is doing. By coming out against our president and wanting him to fail Coach Gregg Popovich is coming out against this country and wanting it to fail. It is that simple. I am for Trump and the great job he is doing. He is, by all means, bringing out the best in all of us. Well all of us who are trying to work with him anyway.
