Warren Calls Trump ‘Extreme Symptom’ of ‘What Is Broken’ as His Campaign Slams Her as a ‘Fraud’

The two are critics of one another. Before Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) jumped into the 2020 presidential race on Saturday, President Donald Trump’s campaign labeled her a “fraud.”

The president’s re-election campaign manager, Brad Parscale, wrote in a statement that Warren “has already been exposed as a fraud by the Native Americans she impersonated and disrespected to advance her professional career, and the people of Massachusetts she deceived to get elected.”

The Democratic senator’s previous claims of being Native American have hit her hard following her DNA test results showing she’s as low as 1/1,024th Native American. She apologized to the Cherokee Nation following criticism, but her ancestry controversy continues to haunt her.

“The American people will reject her dishonest campaign and socialist ideas like the Green New Deal, that will raise taxes, kill jobs and crush America’s middle-class,” Parscale continued. “Only under President Trump’s leadership will America continue to grow safer, secure and more prosperous.”

On Saturday, Warren became the fourth woman to announce she’s running for the Democratic nomination in the 2020 presidential election. She formally launched her campaign in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and said it’s the fight to “build an America where dreams are possible, an America that works for everyone.”

The Massachusetts senator took a jab at Trump, saying he’s the “most extreme symptom” of “what is broken” in the U.S.

“The man in the White House is not the cause of what is broken, he is just the latest and most extreme symptom of what’s gone wrong in America,” she said, adding that Trump is part of a system that “props up the rich and powerful and kicks dirt on everyone else.”

Warren also said that “once he’s gone, we can’t pretend that none of this ever happened. It won’t be enough [to] just undo the terrible acts of this administration.”

Warren’s history of claiming to be of Native American ancestry could cause the Democratic senator to face struggles in her presidential race. She was asked questions a few days prior about her Native ancestry, in which she apologized but dodged questions about if there are more documents in which she has claimed the ancestry, as IJR Red reported.

Obama was never under investigation because no one had the guts to start the investigation. When the story of IRS targeting broke there should have been an in depth independent investigation. When it was discovered Hillary was using an unsecured server there should have been a special prosecutor.
