WATCH: Testy Trump Gives His ‘Solution’ To Illegal Immigration Crisis At Border, Clobbers Dems

On Monday, after a U.S. District Court judge rejected the Trump administration’s request to amend the Flores agreement of 1997 to keep illegal immigrant families together, President Donald Trump was asked about a “solution” to the longstanding Southern border issue.

Trump gave a blunt response: “Tell people not to come to our country illegally. That’s the solution,” he stated.

“Don’t come to our country illegally,” continued the president. “Come like other people do, come legally. I’m saying this very simply: We have laws, we have borders; don’t come to our country illegally. It’s not a good thing.”

Trump then ripped into Democrats for their latest anti-ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) crusade.

“The people who are fighting ICE — it’s a disgrace. These people go into harm’s way. There is nobody under greater danger than the people from ICE,” he said, noting of the agents’ responsibility to handle dangerous immigrant gang MS-13. “We ought to support ICE, not do what the Democrats are doing.”

“Democrats want open borders and they don’t want crime. We want no crime and we want borders,” he added.

“And remember this,” said Trump before taking off, “without borders, you do not have a country.”

Democrats have all but officially made “Abolish ICE” their 2020 campaign slogan since they’ve found a way to politicize the crisis at the Southern border, which predates the current president’s tenure. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) has called for the abolition of ICE and top prospective Democratic presidential candidates Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) have been similarly radical calls.
