WATCH: Trace Adkins DEFIES Trump-Haters with THIS Amazing New Song

If there is one thing that rings true in this country, it is the patriotism among many of our country music stars.

Trace Adkins’ song, “Still a Soldier,” is the latest country hit to not only fly up the charts but to also strike that patriotic part of every TRUE American’s heart in our country…

The song tells the story many people simply do not understand, especially liberals… even after they retire, our brave warriors are still soldiers.

I have seen this firsthand out at bars and sporting events, and it is something that is truly amazing.

Our national anthem comes on, and you see a man or woman stand and a tear roll down their cheek as the words are sung.

You just know there is something different about them, and that song means just a little bit more to them because it not only represents our country but also everything they have done and lost in their efforts to preserve our freedom.

I have also seen the ugly side of this, and it truly infuriates me. How people think it is okay to make fun of any soldier is beyond me.

I can remember being out at a local saloon in a liberal city and seeing a man stand up, take off his hat, and mouth the words of the anthem while liberals laughed, pointed, and made fun of him.

He did not give them the time of day, but I could see that it bothered him immensely. Their words hit him worse than any bullet or strike ever could have hurt him in battle. He was being mocked by the very people whose freedom he was willing to lay down his life for.

After introducing myself, I flat out asked him if he was a veteran, and of course he was. He wanted to know how I could tell, and I explained that I had seen how he reacted to both the anthem and the ridicule, and there is only one type of person I have ever seen react that way: warriors who have fought for our freedom.

At the end of the game, I thanked him for his service, picked up the tab, and left. As I was walking out, he grabbed my arm, looked me dead in the eye, and said, “Thank you. You don’t know how much what you said and did for me today means to me. It just makes it all worth it.”

It was important, at least to me, that this man knows SOME people in this country appreciate the sacrifice people like him make every day. As for those liberals, they should be ashamed of mocking the men and women who protect their freedom with their lives.

Just like Trace says, remember folks, these brave men and women are “still a soldier.” Their “blood runs red, white, and blue.” He may have “put away his gun and boots, but he still believes.”

Just live a “GOOD” life, and know who gives you that opportunity, have done so, from the start of this country, and will do so as long as this country stands!

You know I truly believe in the freedom of speech but I also believe that there is a line that one must not cross that being if you haven’t no idea about what the hell or who the hell your talking about then keep quite! I was in Southeast Asia on April 30th 1975 the day that Saigon fell.My unit stayed behind on a search and retrieve mission which we went out to try and locate the bodies and parts of our fallen Brothers in Arms to have them shipped back to the world for a proper hero’s funeral.I can’t begin to describe my thoughts I was having to deal with as I was doing this and to hear these people belittle the bravest of the brave makes me wish some how they would have to do the same mission to see first hand what these brave soldiers gave for them. It is nice to know that there are people who still believe in the ones who would have and did give their lives for our freedom. From one soldier who knows what it means.
