‘You’re Heartbroken Because You Failed’: Randy Quaid Pens Forceful Open Letter to Meryl Streep

Randy Quaid, an actor who has performed in nearly 100 films and been nominated for many awards, just wrote an open letter to Meryl Streep for her attack on Donald Trump.

“The reason you are heartbroken is not because Hillary lost. She was always a lost cause. The reason you’re heartbroken is because you and many other celebrities who share your beliefs realized on November 8th that the corporate media agenda has failed you and you failed it,” Quaid stated in his letter.

He said that he “empathized” with Streep, but he wasn’t going to ignore all the hypocrisies that were in her speech.

In the letter, he mentioned that “bullying” even takes place in the Hollywood industry, saying that it happens all the time right in front of her, and she’s either ignoring it or just ignorant of it all together.

And Quaid also comically praised her for “never” being a victim of fake news. “How nice it must be not to have a breath of fake negative press ever written about you or lies manufactured against you by dishonest media attacking your character, your spouse, and your career.”

It’s funny how celebrities disparage the media by saying how horrible it is that they are followed by paparazzi and that the media prints horrible lies about them—that is until it’s conservatives attacking the media, and then liberal celebrities defend the media with an iron fist.

According to Streep, it’s necessary for the media to be there and speak the truth. Well, it would be nice if they actually did speak the truth, because I’m sure the media prints all sorts of lies and “speculation” about celebrities and the drama going on in that world.

Quaid also remarked on how Streep claimed she was a voice for the “voiceless,” yet she didn’t stand up for him when he was being attacked. The media went after Quaid, and Streep did not come to his defense once.

Liberal celebrities are just pouting because they realized how little their voices matter when it comes to the important events in this country, such as presidential elections. They expected all their fans to listen to them and vote for Hillary Clinton, but that’s not how elections work.

The American people heard the views of their favorite celebrities, and they were not afraid to say, “I don’t agree” and voted for Donald Trump. Now, these celebrities are crying their crocodile tears in the aftermath of the election and their loss of relevance.

Quaid finished his open letter by saying how Streep should mend her broken heart, “Personally and professionally, I would be honored to work with you on any project to fix your broken heart through art, and perhaps you can help me to fix mine, and perhaps together we can entertain and fix America’s broken heart.”

This is what freedom of speech is—it’s not about whining and complaining when you don’t get your way. It’s about speaking out against the majority who are biting off the heads of those who don’t agree with them. It’s about giving your views even if they aren’t liked or agreed with. Those are our rights as Americans, and it’s Quaid’s right to do so, and many Americans are supporting him in making his voice heard.

I say Bravo it’s about time someone see our pain not just their own special whiny ways.We had to stop the invasion of our country the tear down of road schools business all while obama pays billions and Trillions to other nations that was not legal he made hisself a king and used the American people against each other. While he done the most destruction he could fit in for his presidency. He corrupted a party so severely it will never get a President back in office. With all the violence and crimes against WE the People. They have turned into the most hateful vile people other then Radical muslims in the whole world. And We had to end their murdering ways.Obama commited more murders then I think anyone else in the world has.

Wow! Thank you Mr. Quaid, you not only said it so honestly, you said it openly for us to hear. In this election it showed that celebrities are not able to buy the public votes at all. They think we are dumb like them that we will just vote for whoever, because they support the candidates. It’s not so !!! The Obamas or the Democrats cling to these movie stars who are suppose to entertain us with their movies not about the lies that the politicians have and they can’t be covered up by their being famous or being rich, etc. The public are getting smart by determining what happened in the last eight years and the future of this country. We see that we cannot continue with Hussein Obamas legacy, it’s a mess, the main reason why Hillary lost. We true Americans want the country great and prosperous again. We don’t need to be lied, steal from us, killing of our police officers, invasions of ISIS and killing the innocents, blah blah blah. Enough said. You got the point and the message is ; we have a new president. To make America Great Again !!!!
    , America.

Thank you Mr. Quaid. You told it like it is. We see through them too. Another reason we chose Mr. Trump. We’re not impressed by no means of liberal celebrities.

Celebrities need to stick to issues they are informed about. Like what color lipstick looks best on them. Or let’s take a picture of me or let’s have a party celebrating me or let’s have my award for my movie. They’re so stupid they don’t even know we put groceries on the table. God if they even knew what they were talking about might be something that they don’t

You nailed it sir…time for Meryl Streep to grow up…I learned at a very young age you don’t always get what you want…my mom and dad had six kids..they couldn’t afford to please all of us at the same time..we all got expensive gifts but at different times..and we were all happy for the ones when it was their time…sorry meryl this wasn’t your time…be happy for the American people..maybe next time will be your time…who knows maybe by then you will like Trump..

I’m so glad someone reply to Streep rant. I’m so sick of all the cry babies. I’ve celebrities do not even live in the real world. They do not even have the same pomnlems 99% of Americans do. They should just do what they get paid for. Entertain me.

If killery had even tried talking to the people of America as she “campaigned” and explained her platform instead of attending all of those celebrity “elite” fundraisers, things may have turned out differently. Of course if she wasn’t a pathological liar and crook it would have helped also. It’s not that America doesn’t want a woman president, it’s that America wants one who is deserving of America’s respect.

So glad to hear from some celebrities that don’t feel the way Meryl Street feels ….he is so right they just want their way and they are willing to pretend to cry and get all upset in front of the world so they can get their way I’m so glad America doesn’t see it that way anymore it’s time to set this on the right path it’s been on the wrong path for so long it’s just so important to make sure we bring this country back and bring God back to this country

She was acting then, just as she always has. And, it wasn’t that great a performance! AGlad to see some calling out the ‘elite’. They just aren’t all that special in my book, and I do vote with my wallet.

Thank you Mr. Quaid. Hillary lost because Trump brought up the fact that a great number of Americans are sick and tired of the political correctness of the celebrities, politicians and the Media. Good piece!!

Thank you Mr. Quaid for supporting America. During this election I have been sorely disappointed in many of the celebrities that I grew up watching. They are truely good ACTORS. But now is not a time for acting. It is time for honesty (which we have not seen in recent years).
The main course we should be following now is back to God, the giver of every thing. If one understands Hebrew history, he is also the taker away of all things.
I feel America has been given a reprieve for now. But ultimately our only hope is an eternal one. That is what we should all know, appreciate, and accept.

Apropos of nothing. Ok class: hands up who can name the child rapist to whom Streep gave a standing ovation. There is no end to the hypocracy of these fading snowflakes, unfortunately they haven’t the brains to recognize their stupidity.

Meryl Streep – What makes you think we need you to tell us who to vote for?
Sweetheart you’re wrong if you think “The Bridges of Madison County” is real life. Try really living on a farm working from sun up to sun set for a year of your life. Try mucking stalls on hot summer days, so hot the poop sticks to every inch of your clothing and uncovered sweaty body. Forget about getting a massage or a pedi/mani (your nails won’t come clean and you’re going to put your boots on tomorrow anyway).

We deplorables honor our husbands, we don’t go for flings with other men, we don’t leave our children to satisfy our “desires” like movies portray and Hollywood think is the norm.

We take pride in our country because our grandfathers, fathers, husbands, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, nieces and nephews have all served and some have died. We teach our children to work to provide for their family, make money honestly, but love life. We teach them to stand for the American flag, place their hands over their heart for the pledge of allegiance to fold their hands when they pray. We teach our children to share and do for others. But most of all we teach our children to RESPECT God, teachers, police officers, fireman, trash men and yes the beggers on the street (RESPECT EVERYONE skin color nor who you have sex DOES NOT EXCLUDE you).

Your role in “The Devil Wears Prada” is over – please get out of character.

This is for all the families who:
Have loved one serving in the military, police department, border patrol etc.
Children who have become caregivers to their parents because health care is unaffordable
Parents who have to sell their house and move in with their children
Parents who fear losing their homes after going into debt to pay insurance premiums and deductibles After their child develops an ongoing health issues
Hard working Americans losing their jobs because of government regulations: coal miners, auto industry etc.
