Actress Gives JAW DROPPING Speech at SAG Awards… Liberals Fuming!

Given the politics and divisions dividing the nation, last night’s Screen Actors Guild awards show bore the expected Trump-bashing and progressive commentary.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus stated that she was the daughter of an immigrant who fled the Nazis in occupied France, adding (of course): “And this immigrant ban is a blemish and it is un-American.”

Ashton Kutcher showed support for those protesting over the weekend to let refugees into the US.

Then Taraji P. Henson delivered her acceptance speech on behalf of the cast of “Hidden Figures,” a film about three female African-American mathematicians who worked at NASA in the ‘60s and who helped safely guide American astronauts in space.

The only politics Henson spoke of were of unity, not division. She gave a shout out to the recently deceased American astronaut and hero, John Glenn.

Henson’s words contained not one swipe at Donald Trump, Republicans, or conservatives. She didn’t connect the film’s story with open borders, immigrants, or refugees.

While holding the award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, Ms. Henson declared:
“This film is about unity. The shoulders of the women that we stand on are three American heroes: Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson. Without them, we would not know how to reach the stars.

“These women did not complain about the problems, the circumstances, the issues,” she continued. They focused on solutions. Therefore, these brave women helped put men into space.

“This story is about what happens when we put our differences aside, and we come together as a human race. We win. Love wins every time…”

At last night’s Screen Actors Guild show, Taraji Henson spoke eloquently and with grace. Perhaps others in Hollywood will take note. Our nation would be less divided as a result.

What do you think of Tara
