Laura Ingraham is a truth teller. She doesn’t care where on the political spectrum you sit, she simply states the right and the wrong of a thing and lets others sort out affiliations and titles and spin. She cuts right to the real issue and explains the pros and cons in a way that connects deeply with her fans.
Hopefully, the rumors are true and she may enter the political fray because we need people in DC like her. We need more truth tellers, people who are not afraid to stand up to power. Strong independent thinkers were once the bedrock of our democracy and it’s time we start electing them again.
We must clean house of the weaker willed hacks who too easily fall prey to the special interest army and legislate away the greatness of America. With President Trump in power, this may be our last chance to make sanity take control in Washington.
During an appearance on President Trump’s favorite show, “Fox & Friends,” Laura Ingraham discussed Paul Ryan’s Obamacare repeal bill. She didn’t hold back, bashing Ryan for abandoning Trump.
Laura details how the new bill is missing some key elements: mainly everything Trump wants. Now, President Trump said today he is looking forward to negotiating the bill through Congress and with Trump negotiating we know we will win but still what Ryan left out is striking.
And a little arrogant to be honest – to not have any of the parts Trump championed during the campaign in the bill? Ingraham said,
“The Trump-ism of the health care reform, the Trump-iest parts of it were transparency and pricing, competition across state lines, and even on the edges, repealing the McCarran–Ferguson Act … where is that?”
“I don’t see any transparency and control of skyrocketing prices of health care. I certainly don’t see competition across state lines. And the drug companies, no provisions about that as far as I can see.”

Republicans like Ryan sometimes forget that Trump won by running against them. They need to move his way, not the other way around. Trump will win but it’s waste of energy to fight over these issues again: The American voted. Get used to it Washington.
