According to reports from Conservative101, Republican Congressman Trey Gowdy has been mentioned in conversations for Trump’s Attorney General.
The Republican Congressman has made a name for himself in the past few years for using his experience as a former federal prosecutor in the investigation of Hillary Clinton. Now, inside sources speculate Gowdy’s next career move will most likely be a federal judge in the U.S. fourth circuit court of appeals.
The prestigious position is just one step below our nation’s Supreme Court. The court is located in Richmond, Virginia—which is closer to Gowdy’s family home in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Gowdy would responsible for five states: Maryland, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
