Ever since President Trump’s inauguration, the conservatives were anticipating Supreme Court Justice Ruth Ginsburg’s departure. They expected another judge to be assigned by the President. Of course, a conservative will take over her place. When this will happen, we will feel the positive changes in the country.
As Chuck Grassley stated this summer it’s expected that at least one Justice will be retiring, but that isn’t Ruth Ginsburg. Her step down is anticipated for a long time, and now it’s time for her to go.
“I have no way of knowing who it is, it’s just a very general rumor for the last six months around Washington, and I assume it’s somebody in their late 70s or early 80s,” Grassley explained. This is what we have been waiting for a long time now.
Ted Cruz also agrees with Grassley and stated that he wants to see Ginsburg’s departure.
“I think we’ll have another Supreme Court vacancy this summer,” Ted Cruz stated. He continued that if Justice Kennedy decides to quit, the left “will go full Armageddon meltdown.”
Grassley changed his opinion and surprised everyone by saying he doesn’t believe that would happen anytime soon, during a phone interview.
“I don’t have any expectation we will have a vacancy as I thought there would be earlier this year,” he stated.
This would change a lot because all the conservatives were hoping that Ginsburg will leave soon. Trump must nominee the justice, otherwise, will live in a country in which the highest court is dominated by liberals.
