Conway Finds Common Ground with Pelosi: Media Should Focus on ‘Policy Discussions’ Instead of POTUS

Kellyanne Conway has found a topic upon which she and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) share a similar opinion.
During recent comments to the press, Pelosi expressed her frustration with the media’s obsession with rumors about President Donald Trump, and it looks like Conway agrees.
“I wish the press would spend a lot more time on what we need to do here to meet the needs of the American people instead of morning, noon and night allegations against the president,” Pelosi said at the time.
Conway responded to the comments on Sunday, telling Fox News Pelosi reminded her of her own talking points.
“She sounds like me who’s always talking about not biased coverage because that’s easy to see where you want to see it but incomplete coverage,” she said. “We are not having policy discussions.”

The White House counselor also criticized other media outlets for not allowing for other perspectives to be shared:
“I tried to have some this week on a competitor network — it doesn’t do as well as your network — because I like to get the president’s message out to different audiences and you just get shut down and constantly interrupted when I try to talk about policies. I actually want people to have news they can use.”
It appears Conway was referencing her recent interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, during which the pair’s discussion descended into a heated back-and-forth.

As IJR Blue reported, Cuomo “shut down” Conway when she called a “slur” to refer to President Trump as a “liar.”
