Cuomo Slammed America as Never Being ‘That Great’ — Double Amputee Marine Gives Him a Star-Spangled Lesson

With the fallout New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, is experiencing after saying America “was never that great” to take a jab against President Donald Trump, Johnny Jones, a double amputee Marine Corps veteran, is the latest to slam Cuomo’s comments.

Jones, who reached the rank of Staff Sergeant, had earlier called Cuomo a “coward” for his words of “self pity”:

Speaking with Fox News, Jones said it has become obvious people, like Cuomo, have let the mask slip off and reveal their true beliefs.

“I want to give Gov. Cuomo a little bit of a lesson real quick: When the president says, ‘Make America great again,’ what he means and what voters who voted for him hear is, ‘Make our elected representatives represent our greatness again,’” Jones said.

“Who we are as people, there was a time where personal responsibility was a way of life,” he continued. “There was a time where you looked at someone with a different colored skin, who prayed at a different place, or ate differently than you do, or had a different culture, and you saw an American.”

Since Cuomo made his original comment, he has done an about face and said America is great.

“The Governor believes America is great and that her full greatness will be fully realized when every man, woman, and child has full equality. America has not yet reached its maximum potential,” his statement read.
