Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg met with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago in Florida today and just made an epic announcement.
Muilenburg called the meeting a “good, open discussion” that was “very productive.” Then Muilenburg revealed they spoke about the $4 billion Air Force One program, the one Trump criticized a too expensive.
“We’re going to get it done for less than that, and we’re committed to working together to make sure that happens,” he said. “And I was able to give the President-elect my personal commitment on behalf of the Boeing Company.”
It’s really happening, the American taxpayer is no longer the world’s sucker. The last man holding the bag on budget boondoggles, bad trade deals and on the hook for outright corruption.
And it feels glorious.
“We’re all focused on the same thing here, we’re going to make sure that we give our war fighters the best capability in the world and that we do it in a way that is affordable for our taxpayers,” Muilenburg said.
Finally. Well done President Trump.
You keep racking up victories like this and we may put you on Mt Rushmore.
