Illegal immigrants had the run of the U.S. for the last eight years under the Obama presidency, however everything is changing for them and they are not happy about it. Trump has followed through with his campaign promises to “make America safe again,” and immediately started on deportations of illegal immigrants. Another theme during his campaign was concern for the families of those who were victimized by these illegal immigrants’ crimes.
Epic news from the Trump administration. Sean Spicer, White House press secretary, announced the development of a new Immigration and Customs Enforcement office focused on helping victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants. The office will also assist family members of victims and is part of President Trump’s recent executive action to bolster enforcement of immigration laws already on the books.
“This office (Victims Of Immigration Crime Engagement Office) will facilitate the engagement with victims and their families to ensure questions and concerns regarding immigration enforcement efforts are addressed,” Spicer said, adding that the establishment of the office is fulfilling a campaign promise.
The righteous part of this is now that these additional funds are being stripped from illegal immigrants, Trump is immediately ordering the Director of ICE to “reallocate any and all resources that are currently used to advocate on behalf of illegal aliens to the new VOICE Office, and to immediately terminate the provision of such outreach or advocacy services to illegal aliens.”
Not only do we finally have a president who is keeping his campaign promises, we have one who cares about the American people.
