Laura Ingraham EXPOSES Major Democratic Fraud In Washington

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is trying to tell the American people his attempts to block Judge Neil Gorsuch is a fight to preserve Senate traditions.

Don’t believe him.

Laura Ingraham ripped Chuck Schumer saying his argument for the filibuster of Gorsuch is “absolutely fraudulent.”

“There has never been a partisan filibuster of a Supreme Court nominee. Democrats are acting as if this is a 200-year Senate tradition that will be forever changed,” Ingraham said.

“Chuck Schumer — I mean, I hate to say this during a Sunday during Lent — but he’s absolutely fraudulent in the way he characterizes this.”

The Senate gives advice and consent and has not always held full Senate votes on Supreme Court nominations. It originally simply chose a panel to meet and offer advice and give its consent to the President. There was no full Senate vote.

The Senate has over time determined that advice and consent is best done through full Senate votes. There is no constitutional or historical precedent for a filibuster regarding Supreme Court picks.

“There has never been a partisan filibuster of a Supreme Court nominee,” Ingraham repeated. “When my former boss was confirmed, during all of the controversy surrounding Clarence Thomas, there wasn’t a filibuster.”

“Thomas was confirmed … it wasn’t the largest of margins, but he was confirmed. The vote went forward and he — you know — he ended up sitting on the Supreme Court, much to the consternation of the left,” she said.

“This is ridiculous at this point.”

Correct. More and more red state democratic Senators are refusing to go along with Schumer’s fraud. They will not support his filibuster thus dooming it to failure. Should Schumer prevail, Mitch McConnell said he will change the Senate rules anyway.

Gorsuch will get confirmed.
