Maddow Makes Absolute Fool Of Herself By Proving Trump Paid $38 Million In Tax

The White House has left MSNBC host Rachel Maddow looking like a blabbering fool by releasing President Donald Trump’s 2005 tax information before she could leak it.

Maddow announced more than an hour ago that she had acquired President Donald Trump’s tax information and hinted she would be sharing it on her show tonight.

BREAKING: We've got Trump tax returns. Tonight, 9pm ET. MSNBC.

(Seriously).

Well, the show began. But more than half an hour in, Maddow still didn’t say anything that the White House hadn’t released what might as well have been an eternity ago.

When Maddow finally got around to dropping her “bombshell,” it turned out all she proved was that the President paid a boatload of taxes in 2005.

On her show, she said, “aside from the numbers being large, these pages are straightforward. He took a big write-down of $103 million. If you add up the lines for income he made over $150 million. Mazel Tov!”

As mentioned previously, the White House already released this information at least 20 minutes before Rachel Maddow got around to it.

They also released a statement slamming Maddow, saying “you know you are desperate for ratings when you are willing to violate the law to push a story about two pages of tax returns from over a decade ago.”
