New Report Shows That The Food Stamp Rolls Have Decreased By 1.1 Million

A new report from United States Department of Agriculture shows that the food stamp rolls have decreased by 1.1 million individuals since President Trump inauguration.

The number of people in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program in January was 42,691,363 and in May dropped to 41,496,255, making it 2.79 % drop. This is the lowest number of people using the food stamps since 2010.

Lowering the abuse of the food stamps was one of Trump’s campaign promises. He wants to lower that number more than a quarter by 2018.

According to Politico, “A small part of those savings would come from tightening work requirements for able-bodied individuals, but the vast majority of the proposed sum would come from making states match 20 percent of the federal SNAP outlay.”

“The documents released by (the Office of Management and Budget) didn’t provide details on where all the cuts would be generated. But a lengthy table included among the newly released budget docs proposes raising $2.3 billion in SNAP retailer fees over the next decade to help defray costs of the program.”

And also, houses with illegal immigrants pulled out of the program, because they were scared that their illegal members might get caught and be deported.

The liberals are attacking Trump, but the truth is his administration has done more thing that Obama did in eight years.
