President Trump and the First Lady Spent Christmas Eve Together Making Calls to Children Tracking Santa

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump made the most of being in the White House for Christmas.
The couple partnered with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) for the organization’s “Santa tracker.” The tradition has been going on since 1955 and group claims to track Santa’s trip to deliver presents around the globe.
During the calls, the president and first lady seemed to enjoy speaking with the children and spent their time asking various questions about Christmas.
Here are pictures of the calls:
The first lady also tweeted out her excitement at being able to participate, saying the event was one of her “favorite traditions.”
Helping children across the country track #Santa is becoming one of my favorite traditions! @Potus and I enjoyed working with @NORADSanta – #ChristmasEve pic.twitter.com/CYNkARbFaI

President Trump also had a humorous exchange with a child, asking them if they still believed in Santa.
Watch:
"Are you still a believer in Santa? Because at seven it's marginal, right?"

Due to the government shutdown, the president and his wife are staying in the nation’s capital to try and find a solution, rather than making their standard trip to Florida.
