President Donald Trump fired back, on Twitter, at critics of his 17 day working trip.
The president, flanked by his daughter Ivanka Trump, son-in-law Jared Kushner and grandchildren, arrived in New Jersey on Saturday, as work was set to begin on fixing the heating and cooling system in the West Wing.

But he was met, on social media, by ridicule and scorn for taking a vacation, even though he was essentially forced out of the West Wing.
Hours later, the president took to his favorite medium to explain that he was not taking a vacation, but merely switching work venues.
“Working in Bedminster, N.J., as long-planned construction is being done at the White House. This is not a vacation – meetings and calls!” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, the president did manage to take time out to surprise guests of a wedding being held at his private Bedminster golf club.
He was wearing golf clothes and his famous, red, Make America Great Again hat.
The same type of hat that drove liberals out of their collective minds when transgender star Caitlyn Jenner was spotted wearing one by paparazzi last week.
