He joked and asked if the Senate passed the healthcare regulation in the meantime.

On Tuesday Senate GOP leaders are going to vote on a motion that will start a debate on the House-passed healthcare regulation. If the motion receives the needed 50 votes the House regulation can be removed and changed with a new one. But it is still not sure whether the bill will receive the needed support.
Scalise had some good news to share with his fellow lawmakers, that he is recovering from his wounds.
One person started shooting at a group of Republicans lawmakers who were practicing at the time for the congressional charity baseball game in Alexandria, Virginia, on June 14.
Scalise, Capitol Police Special Agent Crystal Griner, congressional aide Zach Barth and Tysons Food lobbyist Matt Mika were injured.
