Sometimes all it takes is one or two votes to change the course of the nation.
Thousands and thousands of voters made the difference in 2016 to begin the process of returning the power of the government to the American people.
Another vote just moved us one big step closer.
President Trump’s selection for head of the EPA, Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, has been met with violent opposition from Democrats, environmentalists, and employees within the agency. Pruitt has a known record of fighting the EPA over its abuses of power.
So it makes sense liberals are running scared.
What’s even more surprising are the people coming out in support of Pruitt.
From Daily Caller:
Democratic Sens. Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Manchin of West Virginia will buck their party and vote in favor of confirming Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to head the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Manchin voted to end cloture on Pruitt’s confirmation Thursday, signaling he would vote in favor of President Donald Trump’s nominee. Manchin’s office confirmed to The Daily Caller News Foundation he would vote “yes” on Pruitt.
Heitkamp’s office confirmed to New York Times reporter Jonathan Martin Thursday she would also be a “yes” vote on Pruitt.
Heitkamp a YES on Pruitt, her office announces.

Under President Obama, the Environmental Protect Agency experienced unprecedented expansion of powers. They were given billions of new dollars to waste on useless programs. They imposed strict regulation across American industry. And they worked to undermine businesses, hurting the creation of jobs and American energy independence.
President Trump has vowed his dedication to protect the environment, but he made it clear he is not a friend to the bloated, out-of-control EPA. He plans to slash their budget, effectively reducing their staff. Some experts have claimed he will cut the agency in half, greatly reducing the power it has over the country.
Petty, bitter liberals in the Senate, upset they have no power, are dragging out cabinet confirmation hearings. It is a spiteful tactic.
It won’t prevent these people from gaining their positions, it is only a show of disrespect on the part of congressional democrats.
But with even some of their own breaking ranks to vote for Trump’s pick, Democrats are proving they can’t keep their own base together.
