Snoop Dogg Defends Louis Farrakhan Over Facebook Ban: ‘Ban Me Motherf*****’

Following the banning of several controversial figures from Facebook and Instagram, rapper Snoop Dogg voiced his opposition to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan being removed from the platforms.

“So Facebook and Instagram just banned Minister Louis Farrakhan. I want to know for what. All he ever did was tell the truth. But y’all are going to ban him though. Alright, what if we ban y’all?” Snoop Dogg said in a video posted on Instagram (which is owned by Facebook, Inc.)

“What if we stop f****** with y’all, Facebook and Instagram? How the f*** y’all going to ban Minister Louis Farrakhan for putting truth out there? I stand with him, I’m with him. Ban me motherf*****,” he continued.

Snoop added that he plans on continuing to post Farrakhan’s content.

“F*** y’all that got a problem with him. Sorry about that Minister, I had to— I had to bang for you. I know you don’t permit that. But that ain’t right. It’s not right. There is a bunch of motherf*****s that y’all could ban but y’all choose Minister Louis Farrakhan,” Snoop Dogg concluded.

Snoop later posted again, encouraging his 31 million followers to also share Farrakhan’s content.

“If you down with it, like I’m down with it, post your favorite Minister Farrakhan video on your Instagram or Facebook page,” Snoop said. “Show some love to a real brother. Post it right now. He got footage everywhere. If you ain’t got none, snatch it off of Youtube. It’s everywhere. Put up some Minister Louis Farrakhan footage. Show some love. Show what he really be talking about: educating, truth. Can’t ban all of us.”

Farrakhan lost his verification on Twitter in June last year after posting an anti-Semitic rant about “Satanic Jews” and the “Synagogue of Satan.”

“I wonder will you recognize Satan? I wonder, will you see the Satanic Jew and the Synagogue of Satan, which has many races in it, because Satan has deceived the whole world, and think about the message that I was blessed by God to give you today,” he said in the posted video.

Facebook also banned Infowars founder Alex Jones, self-described investigative journalist Laura Loomer, Youtuber and Infowars editor-at-large Paul Joseph Watson, provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos, and anti-Semitic failed Congressional candidate Paul Nehlen, The Daily Wire previously reported. Facebook designated the figures as “dangerous.”

“We’ve always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology,” a statement from a Facebook representative said, according to The New York Times. “The process for evaluating potential violators is extensive and it is what led us to our decision to remove these accounts today.”

In a tweet, Watson claimed he “was given no reason” and “broke none of their rules.”

Reports are true.

I have been banned by Facebook.

Was given no reason. I broke none of their rules.

In an authoritarian society controlled by a handful of Silicon Valley giants, all dissent must be purged.

According to Reuters, Facebook will “remove any accounts, pages, groups and events associated with the banned individuals” but will not ban “users from praising or supporting the banned individuals on its platform, as it has done for militant groups like Islamic State and al-Qaeda in the past.”
