Trump Blasts ‘Democrat Savages’ After Launch Of Impeachment Inquiry

President Trump on Saturday ripped Democratic leaders, calling them “do nothings” and “savages.”

“Can you imagine if these Do Nothing Democrat Savages, people like Nadler, Schiff, AOC Plus 3, and many more, had a Republican Party who would have done to Obama what the Do Nothings are doing to me,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Oh well, maybe next time!”

Trump was referring to Reps. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Adam Schiff (D-CA), and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), along with three of her colleagues who make up what they call “The Squad”: Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts.

Trump then hit the caps lock button to throw out three more tweets.

“PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT!” he wrote.

“MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.

“KEEP AMERICA GREAT!” he finished.

Trump also retweeted a post from his son, Eric, who was touting a massive influx of money into Trump’s re-election campaign following the launch of an impeachment inquiry by Democrats.

“UPDATE: We have now raised almost $15 million in small dollar donations (including 50,000 NEW donors) since @SpeakerPelosi started this impeachment charade 72 hrs ago! Unbelievable numbers!! Keep it going — you and the dems are handing @realDonaldTrump the win in 2020!” Eric Trump wrote.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced on Tuesday that the House would launch a formal impeachment inquiry against the president. Democrats accuse Trump of betraying his presidential oath of office by allegedly pressuring Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.

In just 24 hours, Trump’s reelection campaign and the Republican National Committee had hauled in $5 million, according to Trump’s campaign manager, Brad Parscale.

Trump also changed the “pinned” tweet that tops his account, posting a new ad from his re-election campaign.

“Joe Biden promised Ukraine a billion dollars if they fired the prosecutor investigating his son’s company,” a narrator says as the screen cuts to Biden discussing his push for the Ukrainian government to fire Viktor Shokin, a prosecutor who was looking into the business dealings of a company at which Hunter Biden was paid $50,000 a month.

“If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well son of a bitch, he got fired,” Biden says in the ad, beaming a broad smile. The ad then cuts back to the narrator, who says, “But when President Trump asks Ukraine to investigate corruption, the Democrats want to impeach him. And their media lap dogs fall in line. They lost the [2016] election. Now, they want to steal this one. Don’t let them.”

For her part, Ocasio-Cortez, who has been positively giddy about impeachment, posted a mocking tweet. “To be honest, it should really be @AyannaPressley plus 3 since she is *easily* the best singer out of all of us. I’m just the one holding the wind fan,” she wrote.
