It is undeniable that one of the most promising aims Donald Trump had during his campaign was to take care of our veterans and now he is delivering on it.
One thing is sure, and that is that the men and women who risk their lives for our freedoms, and that got physically and mentally harmed and scared, are getting rejected help. Our veterans are denied the basic healthcare and other kind of help, at the time when the Department of Veterans Affairs has managed to vanish millions of dollars.
Luckily, this ends here. With President Trump now being in office, he is certain to deliver the expected changes regarding the way the VA works, getting to certainty that every single veteran receives the treatment they have well deserved.
Namely, two abnormally corrupt employees in Puerto Rico were fired this week, suggesting that it is only the beginning.
One is the hospital’s CEO, DeWayne Hamlin, who offered an employee $305,000 to quit after she took part in the revealing of his drug arrest.
“Mr. DeWayne Hamlin was removed from federal service effective January 20, 2017”–inauguration day–the VA stated.
The second person fired not too long ago either is a woman who played a role in an armed robbery, then held her job while she was in jail, and segued to work in the hospital’s security office while being imposed with an ankle bracelet.
The level of corruption and inadequate work that has been going on in the VA is no more to be tolerated, which was the exact thing our ex president did.
While the reign of former Secretary of Veterans Affairs Bob McDonald, the agency discredited years of evidence about fragile work ethics. At last the VA began a long overdue investigative process last year, segueing an outside agency, the Office of Special Counsel, prodded VA leadership.
The particular agency is responsible for the offering help to our dear and brave veterans. And still our very government disregarded the moments when the agency that should’ve done that in fact did terrible criminal doings.
Well, no more of that, thanks to President Trump! The protecting and taking care of our veterans is now our primary worry.
