Trump Slams ‘Crazed’ Mika Brzezinski’s Homophobic Slur, Says Conservative ‘Would Be Banned Permanently’

President Donald Trump slammed “crazed” MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski’s homophobic slur and called out the possible hypocrisy.

During Wednesday’s episode of “Morning Joe,” Brzezinski called Secretary of State Mike Pompeo a “wannabe dictator’s butt boy,” which MSNBC tried to censor but were too late in doing so.

The president stood up for Pompeo while criticizing the “crazed” co-host of “Morning Joe” for using the “horrible term,” adding that Brzezinski will “probably be given a pass, despite their terrible ratings.”

(“Morning Joe” rated No. 25 on the most watch cable news programs in 2018, according to a report provided to IJR by Fox News, with 1.084 million viewers — compared to “Hannity” taking the top seat with 3.275 million viewers.)

Trump claimed that “if it was a Conservative that said what ‘crazed’ Mika Brzezinski stated on her show […] that person would be banned permanently from television.”

The president applauded U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell for “having the courage to take this horrible issue on!”

Grenell had called out Brzezinski’s “butt boy” comment as “outrageous.”

“This is totally unacceptable & deeply disturbing. Sexualizing gay people this way is designed to control them & minimize our worth,” Grenell wrote on Twitter.

After criticism, Brzezinski apologized for her slur.

“Totally agree with you -SUPER BAD choice of words .. I should have said ‘water boy’… like for football teams or something like that.. apologize to @SenatorDurbin too! SO SORRY!” she wrote on Twitter.

But her apology might not have been enough.

Grenell responded by saying that “accepting apologies is important. We all fail. But I don’t see that you’ve actually apologized to gays? Your words demean, mock and therefore try to control whole groups by minimizing our humanity.”

The president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., chimed in, calling the MSNBC host’s comment “disgusting” and adding in the fact that comedian Kevin Hart stepped down this past week from his role as Oscars host over years-old remarks.

“This is disgusting! How can @KevinHart4real essentially be forced to lose his Oscar’s gig for comments he made years ago as a comedian, but Mika can make a seriously homophobic slur on a major news station, have the network try to cover it up & its not an issue? Give me a break!” Trump Jr. wrote on Twitter.
