POLICE REVEALS: Teens Who Stole Two Cars And Crashed Were Arrested 126 Times

The story of a handful of teenagers that recently stole two cars and crashed with them both comes as striking, not due to the story alone, but to the fact that all teenagers had committed a total of 126 crimes, for which they were arrested.

Three of them were instantly killed in the crash. Keontae Brown, 16, Jimmie Goshey, 14, and Dejarae Thomas, 16, all now deceased, stole one of the cars and crashed after going through a red light with more than 100 mph.

Keontae Brown’s younger brother Keondrae, 14, who was also with them, survived the crash.

The second stolen car was driven by Kamal Campbell, 18, and Deyon Kaigler, 16.

The survivors were all arrested on the spot.

Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri expressed his revolt for the juvenile detention system, that fails problematic teenagers on daily basis.

The oldest of the group, Campbell, had committed 27 crimes alone for which he was arrested, while Kaigler had 20 arrests, Thomas 15, and Keontae Brown had 16 arrests.

Goshey and Keondrae Brown, had 27 and 20 arrests, respectively.

At the moment, Keondrae Brown and Kaigler are detained by a juvenile center for 21 days, while Campbell, who is an adult, is in jail with a $25,000 bail.

The teenagers were constantly troublesome, which became a problem in the neighborhood as well, with relatives and friends trying to warn the parents about their children’s behavior.

Tina Webber, a friend of Kaigler’s mother, told her prior to the crash: ‘I looked them right in the eye and said, ‘Keep stealing cars, and you’re going to wind up dead or in prison.

‘These kids are going to keep dying, whether they’re dying in a car or in prison. Because they’re young and dumb and don’t know nothing.’

The cars were stolen from a car dealership on Missouri Avenue in Clearwater.

Aside from stealing the cars, the juveniles also smoked weed and performed several burglaries. Also, one of the boys was carrying a weapon.

The crash happened around 4 am, after which authorities stepped in.

Take a look at their individual criminal records:
