Alyssa Milano Watches Lewandowski Testimony, Melts Down: ‘Hold Someone Accountable … For Anything!’

On Tuesday, apparently watching the congressional hearings held by the House Judiciary Committee at which former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski appeared, actress Alyssa Milano experienced a meltdown, raging on Twitter at Democrats to “hold someone accountable” … “for anything!”

Milano initially responded to a segment of the hearing in which Congressman David Cicilline threatened to hold Lewandowski in contempt for refusing to answer certain questions, turning to committee chairman Jerrold Nadler and snapping, “Mr. Chairman, this witness continues to obstruct the work of this committee by refusing to answer questions; he’s been ordered to do so by you. I ask that you adjudge him in contempt in these proceedings.”

Milano enthused, “Thanks for having balls, @Davidcicilline! Everyone else needs to grow some. Including the media.”

(Side note: Milano might have some issues if her plans for everyone growing a new set of appendages come to fruition; last May, Milano called for a sex strike to protest pro-life legislation, tweeting, “Our reproductive rights are being erased. Until women have legal control over our own bodies we just cannot risk pregnancy. JOIN ME by not having sex until we get bodily autonomy back. I’m calling for a #SexStrike. Pass it on.”)

Back to Tuesday: growing frantically impatient roughly one hour later, Milano responded to a tweet linking to an article that indicated Nadler was considering holding Lewandowski in contempt; She screamed, “WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR?! Hold someone accountable! For something! Anything!”

Milano’s desperation when it comes to targeting the Trump administration has been demonstrated repeatedly; in June 2017, she ripped the Senate GOP health care bill for being written by “Very. White. Men.” In September 2017, on National Prayer Day, after President Trump tweeted, “Remember, Sunday is National Prayer Day (by Presidential Proclamation)!”, Milano responded, “Remember, Sunday is National Asshole Day (by Presidential Proclamation)!”

In February 2018, Milano tweeted, “Boycott the Republican Party. The @GOP is a threat to constitutional order.” In November 2018, Trump tweeted, “Would be very SMART if Mexico would stop the Caravans long before they get to our Southern Border, or if originating countries would not let them form (it is a way they get certain people out of their country and dump in U.S. No longer). Dems created this problem. No crossing.” Milano ranted back, “You tear-gassed women and children, a**wipe! And on Thanksgiving weekend, you piece of s***, a**hole, mother****ing, evil-creature-person!!”

In February 2018, actress Rose McGowan, who had starred with Milano on “Charmed,” slammed Milano when McGowan was asked whether she was proud of Milano’s work with the #MeToo movement. McGowan, an alleged victim of sexual harassment, replied bluntly, “I don’t like her. Cause I think she’s a lie.” Noting Milano’s husband worked for the Hollywood talent agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), McGowan stated, “Do you think I don’t know these people? I’m not looking at this from the outside. I have a lot of experience. I know [Milano is] married to a CAA agent. Do the math. Who’s behind Time’s Up? CAA. Where do they meet? CAA. Who needs good PR? CAA. Who are part of the pimp problem? CAA.”
