Different Reports About Chase Bolling’s Death Raise More Questions

Many speculate that the death of Eric Bolling’s son is related to his recent sexual harassment scandal followed by a dismissal from Fox News.

According to TMZ, Eric Chase Bolling Jr. was found dead in his bed, after suffering ’emotional torture’ over the humiliation of his dad, but the details of his death remain unknown for now.

Chase Bolling died hours after it was publicly disclosed that his dad was fired from Fox News after the internal investigation into the allegations of him sending indecent messages to female coworkers.

On August 7th journalist Yashar Ali broke the story claiming several women got indecent photos from Bolling many years ago while at Fox News.

After the story, Bolling was immediately suspended and ultimately outset from Fox News on September 8.

Betsy Rothstein, a Daily Caller reporter, questioned Ali’s intentions in her report about the conflicted reporting.

“Ironically, it was Ali who broke the news of Chase Bolling’s death on Saturday. He tweeted that all reports indicated that Bolling was a ‘devoted’ father,” she said. “Ali’s reportage in the wake of Bolling’s son’s death felt grotesque.”

“Very sad news, Eric Bolling’s son, who was only 19, died last night. By all accounts, Eric was incredibly devoted to his son. Heartbreaking,” Ali wrote.

Rothstein felt it was weird that Ali issued these kinds of remarks toward Bolling when he was the one who reported on Fox News firing Bolling the previous day.

Bolling announced his son’s death on Sept. 9 on Twitter.

“Adrienne and I are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Eric Chase last night. Details still unclear. Thoughts, prayers appreciated,” Bolling said.

Bolling updated the public a few hours later:

“Authorities have informed us there is no sign of self-harm at this point. Autopsy will be next week. Please respect our grieving period,” Bolling said.

Bolling also wrote on Twitter, expressing his gratitude toward his supports for their prayers and kind words during this hard time.
