Keith Olbermann lashed out after President Trump offered condolences to the citizens of Sutherland Springs.
Sutherland Springs, TX – After the Texas church shooting, political commentator Keith Olbermann took to Twitter to slam president Trump for not calling for the death penalty on the killer.
The church shooter is already dead.
The president offered his support and condolences to Texans in a news conference on Sunday, after gunman Devin Kelley murdered 26 people at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families of today’s horrible and murderous attack, President Trump said.
“We cannot begin to imagine the suffering of those who lost the ones they so dearly loved.”
The President also tweeted:
May God be w/ the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI & law enforcement are on the scene. I am monitoring the situation from Japan.

Olbermann, host of GQ’s political show, “The Resistance,” and author of “Trump is F*cking Crazy: (This is Not a Joke),” then took to Twitter in an attempt to blast the President.
The killer was already dead just minutes after the mass shooting.
The president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., was quick to mock Olbermann with a tweet of his own.
Only Keith is dumb enough to talk about the death penalty for someone who is already dead. Just when I thought he couldn’t be dumber… pic.twitter.com/3NtvYuehpy

President Trump has said that “mental health issues” were to blame for the recent mass shootings in America, not guns themselves.
“Fortunately somebody else had a gun that was shooting in the opposite direction otherwise it (wouldn’t) have been as bad as it was,” the president said. “It would have been much worse.”
“This is a mental health problem at the highest level. It’s a very, very sad event.”
